Theatre Festivals: Golden Harlequin
Golden Harlequin is Saratov regional theater festival.
Festival Golden Harlequin is held every two years. Theatrical works set in the theaters of the city and region over the past two seasons are involved in the festival. The first festival was held in 2001.
The festival takes place in two stages:
* First: performances and the work of actors, directors, choreographers, artists are nominated for participation in the festival by the leadership of the theaters. The nomination is based on solutions of Arts Councils with regard to the opinion section of theatricology and theatrical criticism of Saratov Branch of STD Russia.
* Second: authoritative jury determines the winners in all categories on the basis of stage show.

* Sergey Zaharin – Best Debut (male role) for his role as Ozrik in the play “Hamlet”
* Anastasia Beskrovnaya – Best Newcomer (female role) for her role as Laura in the play “The Glass Menagerie”
* Igor Gladyrev – the author of the musical design in drama and puppet theater for the play “The invisible world tears”
* Alexander Kuzmin – Best Supporting Actor for the role of Laertes in the play “Hamlet”
* Svetlana Nikulina – Best Supporting Actress for her role as Beatrice in the play “Much Ado About Nothing”
* Sergei Boldyrev – Best Actor-director for the play “Treasure Island”, “Death and the Maiden”
* Alexei Mikheyev – the best work of actor (male role) in musical theater (ballet) for a party of Death in the ballet “Girl and Death”
* Vera Sharipova – best work of actress (female role) in the musical theater (ballet) for a party of girls in the ballet “Girl and Death”
* Victor Mamonov – the best work of actor in a drama theater of the role Svidrigailov in “Crime and Punishment” and Claudius in “Hamlet”
* Elvira Danilina – the best work of actress in a drama theater of the role of Blanche in the play “A Streetcar Named Desire” and Mona in “Untitled Star”
* Valery Nesterov – the best work of the choreographer for the ballet “The Girl and Death”
* Yuri Osherov

* Yuri Popov – for the loyal and dedicated service to the theater
* Oleg Zagumenniy – Best Director for the play “The House of Bernarda Alba” in Volsk Drama Theatre
